Invisibilia, a new series curated by Canti Magnetici, presents "La Plage" - Michèle Bokanowski's 1992 soundtrack for the short film of the same name. The soundtrack to La Plage has been described as "liquid abstraction" - a fluid piece in four movements signaling perhaps a slight departure from the more concrète tendencies in Bokanowski's oeuvre. "La Plage" features deeply emotive kinetic synthesis and gorgeous minimal drum machine work - sounds & compositions expressive of the parallel refractive tendencies of the film they accompany.
